WASHINGTON, March 21 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced AmeriCorps awarded a $117,540 grant to the Cuyahoga County Department of Job and Family Services to help boost access to services, increase participation in workforce programming, and decrease contact center wait times. These funds are expected to benefit 25,000 low-income individuals and more than 30 organizations.
