WASHINGTON, March 18 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency issued the following news release on March 17, 2023:
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced today that U.S. Army Sgt. Gregory V. Knoll 22, of Hill City, Kansas, killed during World War II, was accounted for Jan. 3, 2023.
