WASHINGTON, March 16 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release on March 15, 2023:
U.S. Senator Susan Collins, the Vice Chairman of the Appropriations Committee, and Congressman Jared Golden announced that Maine received an additional $4,949,580 for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
The funding represents the remainder of the LIHEAP funding that was secured by Senator Collins, Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), and Congressman Gold . . .
