WASHINGTON, March 9 -- Rep. Troy Nehls, R-Texas, issued the following news release on March 8, 2023:

Congressman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX-22) and Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) reintroduced House and Senate Resolutions of Disapproval of President Biden's 2022 "public charge" rule. Biden's rule dramatically scales back the number of benefits immigrants can use that would be held against them when applying for permanent residency in the United States.
