WASHINGTON, March 9 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) awarded a $192,000 grant to Canal Junction Farm in Defiance County through the Local Agricultural Market Resource Program (LAMP). This Value Added Producer Grant is expected to help create jobs on the Defiance farm.
