Congressman Sanford D. Bishop Jr. (GA-02) announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is awarding $3,955,931 to the Macon-Bibb County Economic Opportunity Council to support its Head Start program. The Head Start program promotes early learning and development, health, and well-being for low-income families.
