WASHINGTON, March 2 -- Rep. Andre Carson, D-Indiana, issued the following news release on March 2, 2023:
Representative Andre Carson (D-IN) and Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC), along with Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), have introduced a resolution supporting the designation of the last day of February as "Rare Disease Day."
There are around 7,000 rare diseases that affect about 1 in 10 Americans. They include conditions like Sickle C . . .
