NASHVILLE, Tennessee, March 1 -- The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation issued the following news on Feb. 28, 2023:
Gov. Bill Lee and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) Commissioner David Salyers today announced a $7 million loan for the City of Kingsport to improve water infrastructure.
The loan is one of two approved by the Tennessee Local Development Authority, with loans for Kingsport and Smyrna totaling $8.3 million.
