LANSING, Michigan, Feb. 8 -- The Michigan Department of Education issued the following news release on Feb. 7, 2023:
The U.S. Department of Education recently awarded the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) a five-year, $4.5 million grant to expand the number of school-based mental health service providers in high-need schools.
MDE will use the federal funds to launch the Michigan Earn, Learn, and Serve in Schools (Mi-ELSiS) program, which provides 165 graduate-level . . .
