WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 -- The U.S. Department of Transportation's Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology - Bureau of Transportation Statistics issued the following news release:

U.S. airline industry (passenger and cargo airlines combined) employment decreased to 784,310 workers in December 2022, 27 (0.003%) fewer workers than in November 2022 (784,337) . . .
