WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 -- Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch (both R-Idaho), Mike Braun (R-Indiana), Rick Scott (R-Florida), Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Ted Budd (R-North Carolina) introduced the Zero Based Budget Act to reduce the more than $31 trillion of debt held by the general public and curb unjustified spending at the federal level. The Zero Based Budget Act would cut wasteful spending and reduce U.S. debt.
