WASHINGTON, Feb. 1 -- Rep. Mark Green, R-Tennessee, issued the following news release on Jan. 30, 2023:
Rep. Mark Green re-introduced the Medicaid Improvement and State Flexibility Act in the 118th Congress. The bill authorizes states to begin pilot programs that give Medicaid recipients a swipe card with dollars on it designed for medical purchases. What is not spent on the card is returned to the holder at the end of the year in the form of an Earned Income Tax Credit.
