HONOLULU, Hawaii, Jan. 21 -- Gov. Josh Green, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release:
Governor Josh Green, M.D., has accepted an FY 2023 Compact Impact grant of $15,798,564 from the U.S. Department of the Interior Assistant Secretary for Insular and International Affairs, Carmen G. Cantor. The federal funding will help defray the state's costs of providing services to citizens of the Freely Associated States who live in Hawai'i.
