WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 -- The National Trust for Historic Preservation issued the following news release on Jan. 16, 2023:
As the nation commemorates the life and impact of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the National Trust for Historic Preservation's African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund announced its first round of Preserving Black Churches grants to 35 historic Black churches across the U.S., for a total investment of $4 million.
