WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release and letter:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) joined U.S. Senators Edward J. Markey (D-MA) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) in sending a letter to Southwest Airlines CEO Robert E. Jordan seeking answers for its mass flight cancellations in the final week of December. As the senators explained in their letter, Southwest canceled more than 7,500 flights between December 27 and 29 - in the wake of winter . . .
