BOSTON, Massachusetts, Jan. 6 -- The Massachusetts Department of Transportation issued the following news release on Jan. 5, 2023:
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) grant application, requesting $1.882 billion from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) first round of the Bridge Investment Program Grants, to replace the Bourne and Sagamore Bridges has been denied. . . .
