OLYMPIA, Washington, Dec. 30 -- The Washington State Department of Ecology issued the following agency statement on Dec. 29, 2022:
On Jan. 1, 2023, two of the biggest climate policies in Washington's history will go into effect: The Climate Commitment Act and the Clean Fuel Standard.
But the CCA and the CFS are far from the only ways Washington is working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prevent the worst effects of climate change on our state's environm . . .
