CLEVELAND, Ohio, Dec. 24 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on Dec. 23, 2022:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the Toledo Roofers Local 134 and its more than 430 members will receive $19.1 million in pension restoration funding from the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). This funding is a direct result of the passage of the Butch Lewis Act as a part of the American Rescue Plan which Brown helped write and pass.
