U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) announced that $800 million in funding authorized through the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI), an initiative Portman wrote into law in 2015, has been signed into law as part of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
