U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.), a senior member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Congressman Jamie Raskin (D-Md.-8), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, have introduced the "Stateless Protection Act," bicameral legislation establishing a new protected status, permanent residency and a pathway to citizenship for stateless individuals residing in the United State . . .
