WASHINGTON, Dec. 21 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Sens. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Cory Booker (D-NJ), and Alex Padilla (D-CA) reintroduced a Senate Resolution to declare racism a public health crisis. Brown, Booker, and then-Senator Kamala Harris first introduced the legislation in July 2020, and Brown reintroduced it again with Senators Booker and Padilla in April 2021.
