GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado, Dec. 16 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management issued the following news release:
The Bureau of Land Management Grand Junction Field Office has acquired two parcels of land through the Land and Water Conservation Fund, totaling 1,600 acres, in Mesa and Garfield counties. The 960-acre and 640-acre parcels are adjacent to the South Shale Ridge Area of Critical Environmental Concern and the Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Range. . . .
