WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Georgia, issued the following news release:
Following U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff's push to commemorate Congressman John Lewis, the U.S. Postal Service announced they will honor Georgia's civil rights champion on a stamp next year.
Last year, Sen. Ossoff urged the Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee to commemorate Lewis' legacy with this honor.
