WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
President Joe Biden signed into law the Respect for Marriage Act, which will protect same sex and interracial marriages, and was supported by U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH). Brown voted to pass the bipartisan legislation in November. It passed the Senate by a vote of 61-36.
"Ohioans should be able to marry whom they love," said Brown. "All Americans deserve full civil . . .
