U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Loans Program Office (LPO) provided Ultium Cells LLC a $2.5 billion loan through its Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (ATVM) program to construct three lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing facilities in Ohio, Tennessee and Michigan. The facility in Warren, Ohio, will be the first large electric vehicle . . .
