COLUMBUS, Georgia, Dec. 3 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Georgia, issued the following news release:

This week, U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff honored Deputy Greg Countryman Jr. for his heroism and work to keep the Columbus community safe in the official Congressional Record.

In May, Muscogee County Sheriff's Deputy Greg Countryman Jr. heroically saved the lives of three-year-old twins who were drowning.
