WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 -- The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigation issued the following written statement by Peter H. Cherouny, professor emeritus of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive services in the College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, involving a hybrid hearing on Nov. 15, 2022, entitled "Medical Mistreatment of Women in ICE Detention."
