WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) awarded two Strengthening U.S. Public Health Infrastructure, Workforce, and Data Systems grants totaling $103,509,302 to improve critical public health infrastructure. This first-of-its kind funding comes, in part, from the American Rescue Plan, which Brown helped to write and pass.
