ALBANY, New York, Dec. 1 -- Gov. Kathy Hochul, D-New York, issued the following news release on Nov. 30, 2022:

Governor Kathy Hochul today celebrated the start of construction of the 339-mile Champlain Hudson Power Express transmission line, being developed by Transmission Developers Inc, to deliver reliable clean energy from Hydro-Quebec in Canada directly to New York City.
