WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:
By a vote of 61-36, the Senate passed the Respect for Marriage Act, legislation spearheaded by U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Susan Collins (R-ME) to prevent discrimination, promote equality, and protect the rights of all Americans.
