WASHINGTON, Nov. 30 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:
To promote dental health care services and improve health outcomes among underserved communities, U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME), Ben Ray Lujan (D-N.M.), and Ben Cardin (D-Md.) introduced the Oral Health Literacy and Awareness Act. Studies have shown oral health related illnesses have resulted in 6.1 million days of bed disability, 12.7 million days of restricted activity, and 20.5 million . . .
