NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia, Nov. 23 -- Rep. Robert C. Scott, D-Virginia, issued the following statement on Nov. 23, 2022:

While I am thankful for the swift response of local law enforcement and the assistance of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, nothing will bring back those who have had their lives needlessly cut short.
