WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, issued the following news release and letter:
Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) joined nearly 60 members of Congress in urging Congressional leadership to expand the Child Tax Credit (CTC) and the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) as soon as possible. The members, led by Reps. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) and Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.), urge Speaker Pelosi and Leader Schumer not to include corporate tax breaks in any must-pass bill . . .
