Gov. Justice Announces Plans To Renovate WV Turnpike Travel Plazas, Construction To Begin In February 2023

BECKLEY, West Virginia, Nov. 19 -- Gov. Jim Justice, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Nov. 18, 2022:

Gov. Jim Justice today announced plans for the complete renovation of the Beckley and Bluestone travel plazas on the West Virginia Turnpike. The West Virginia Parkways Authority officially approved the plans at their meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Beckley and Bluestone travel plazas will be closed beginning Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, to begin demolitio . . .
