WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr., D-Georgia, issued the following news release on Nov. 16, 2022:
Yesterday, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) commemorated the one-year anniversary of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act's (IIJA) enactment. Congressman Bishop supported the bipartisan infrastructure bill's approval in Congress. Since then, the law has funded projects throughout Georgia, including in Middle and Southwest Georgia.
