AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 15 -- The Republican Party of Texas issued the following news release:
The Republican Party of Texas announced the results of the first statewide poll since election day, which show a plurality of Texas Republican primary voters support Ron DeSantis to be the party's presidential nominee in 2024, and an overwhelming majority oppose the Republican-controlled Texas House continuing the practice of appointing Democrats to leadership positions.
