WASHINGTON, Nov. 10 -- Rep. John P. Sarbanes, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:

Congressman John Sarbanes joined Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen and Congressmen Steny H. Hoyer, Dutch Ruppersberger and Kweisi Mfume (all D-Md.) in announcing $378,538 to promote community policing and provide mental health support to Maryland police departments.
