JERSEY CITY, New Jersey, Nov. 5 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on Nov. 4, 2022:
U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker (both D-N.J.) today announced $5,601,686.52 in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to support debris removal and structural repairs as a result of damages caused by Hurricane Ida. Last year, Hurricane Ida slammed New Jersey, causing widespread damage and claiming the lives of 30 individuals.
