WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 -- Federal Housing Finance Agency issued the following news release:
House prices fell nationwide in August, down 0.7 percent from the previous month, according to the latest Federal Housing Finance Agency House Price Index (FHFA HPI(R)). House prices rose 11.9 percent from August 2021 to August 2022. The previously reported 0.6 percent price decline in July 2022 remained unchanged.
