COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 20 -- Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther issued the following news release:

The City of Columbus Executive Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Damita Brown, has offered her resignation to pursue a professional opportunity in the not-for-profit sector. Director Brown will assume the role of Chief Diversity Officer at National Church Residences.
