WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 -- Rep. Ann Kuster, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release and letter:
Representatives Annie Kuster (NH-02) and Lori Trahan (MA-03) wrote a letter to the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) requesting the extension of temporary telehealth flexibilities for the treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD). Currently, buprenorphine treatment for OUD can be initiated via audio-only telehealth . . .
