TOPEKA, Kansas, Oct. 20 -- The Kansas Democratic Party issued the following news release:
In a recent interview with The New York Times, when asked the biggest difference between himself and former Governor Sam Brownback, Derek Schmidt failed to provide an answer.
"Derek Schmidt knows he can't hide from his record of defending Brownback's disastrous cuts to public schools in court or standing behind him as the 'tax experiment' tanked our economy . . .
