WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced the Appalachian Regional Commission's (ARC) Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization (POWER) Initiative has awarded grants to two organizations in Youngstown. These investments, totaling $1,204,850, will help expand broadband services and workforce development in the area.
