WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced the Appalachian Regional Commission's (ARC) Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization (POWER) Initiative has awarded a $1,500,000 grant to the Economic and Community Development Institute in Columbus to spark entrepreneurship across coal-impacted communities in Ohio.
