WASHINGTON, Oct. 14 -- Rep. Elaine Luria, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on Oct. 13, 2022:
The Social Security Administration announced today that disabled veterans and military families will be eligible for the largest increase in compensation and benefits in 40 years, 8.7 percent, after Rep. Elaine Luria's (D-VA) bipartisan Veteran's Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) Act of 2022 was signed into law on Monday.
