Fla. U.S. Attorney: Former Florida Tech CEO Pleads Guilty to Tax Evasion

JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Oct. 13 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida, Roger B. Handberg, issued the following news release on Oct. 12, 2022:

A district court judge accepted the guilty plea yesterday of the former CEO of a Jacksonville company who admitted to evading income taxes owed to the IRS based on a fraud he ran on his employer.

According to court documents and statements made in court, in 2015 and 2016, Jason Cory was a manager at a New York-bas . . .
