WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 -- Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on Oct. 7, 2022:
U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin and Congressmen Steny H. Hoyer, Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, Kweisi Mfume, Anthony G. Brown, Jamie B. Raskin, and David Trone (all D-Md.) announced $966,659 in federal funding to help develop Maryland's digital equity plan, which will increase affordable access to high-speed internet and close the digital divide.
