INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, Oct. 8 -- The Indiana House Republicans issued the following news release:
State Rep. Bob Heaton (R-Terre Haute) said Spencer-Owen Community Schools recently received $45,001 through the state's Secured Schools Safety Grant Program.
Heaton said the local funding is part of this year's record-breaking school safety investments totaling more than $22.9 million in matching state grants headed to 425 schools across Indiana.
