WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 -- Rep. Bob Good, R-Virginia, issued the following news release on Oct. 7, 2022:
Congressman Good (R-VA) introduced the Trucking Workforce Improvement Act to repeal a new burdensome federal regulation on training for a commercial driver's license (CDL). This unnecessary regulation currently in effect mandates that truckers complete a federal government approved Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) in order to acquire a CDL license.
