FRANKFORT, Kentucky, Oct. 7 -- Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts Mike Harmon issued the following news release on Oct. 6, 2022:
State Auditor Mike Harmon today released the 2021 agreed-upon procedures engagement of former Marshall County Sheriff Eddie McGuire. State law requires the auditor to annually audit the accounts of each county sheriff. In compliance with this law, the auditor issues two sheriff's reports each year: one reporting on the audit of the sheriff's tax . . .
